my bf booked a spa pool suite for our trip. the room is so nice but the service is terrible !
our door lock system was broken then i called them to fix it. it turned out that the guy they sent to fix the door did nothing but left our door open ,yes OPEN for about 2 hours. i called them to check what was wrong ,they said they would call me back but i havent got any calls from them.
every time we wanted to get in our room we needed to go to front desk to make someone open the door for us until it got fixed on the third day. so annoying !
one more thing ,we went to the restaurant at the hotel, the food was so slow. we had been waiting about 10 mins for still water , 20 mins for appetizer , 40 mins for soups and 1.30hrs for our main dishes.
if someone ask me for any recommendations where to stay in phuket , the Racha wont be in the list !
Exciting adventure en route by boat to Racha Island from Southern Tip of Phuket. Arriving at the island is just magical. Surreal experience on the island from the amazing butterflies galore to the crystal clear turquoise waters, powder soft sand and most of all, friendly, professional and helpful, smiling staff and management that has five-star figured out! Breakfasts offer a great buffet selection and the beach restaurant has the best breeze on the island. Thanks for yet another unforgettable holiday at The Racha! It was our umpteenth visit and will return again next year.
Beautiful location with lovely facilities and great staff. However, upon returning after 10 years the clientele now has many more "young families" which spoilt the peace.
