The food is good. Service is good as well. They could probably bring out the food earlier. Otherwise, awesome experience. ..and their banga is not bad

Food was to be taken away. The price on the menu was different from what I was charged. I was told the were going to upgrade the prices on the menu. I made sure it was a card payment. The order was for Banga Rice. The rice was not well done and there was a lot of liquid in the food. The meat had hair on it. If I could review and award no star, I would.

The food is great, but I have experienced the worst customer service at Delta Pot in my time in Lagos. The staff behaivior is not worth the food, period. We all know that critical thinking and empathy can be an issue in Naija establishments, but the frontline staff at DP take it to another level. I was told that chicken wasn't available and would I take turkey instead. I said yes. Later I'm handed a bill that is N500 more than what was on the menu. I only realized this after I paid - nothing was said about the price difference by the staff. When I complained, the cashier was dismissive, saying that turkey is extra. I kept saying this was horrible customer service, and the cashier then had the gall to tell me that I was given extra portions and that's why the bill is larger. I said 1) did you tell me turkey was a different price when you offered it as a replacement for the chicken you ran out of? 2) did I ask you for any extra portions when I ordered? It was only when the manager stepped in that I was given back the N500. Neither the cashier not the waiter apologized. I don't know if its because I'm a woman, but the cashier's attitude was the most arrogant and dismissive I have encountered from restaurant staff ever. The N500 he treated like nothing is probably more than what he spends in one day on food. Yet for a customer, he thinks I should be throwing that same N500 away. Ridiculous.
