A tad overpriced for a decent pizza. I ordered delivery and was not disappointed but the margharita is double the price of the competition and not twice as nice!

Friendly, well-timed service, delicious food and wine, lovely atmosphere. Even though I was the last one in the restaurant and after closing hours, my server asked if I wanted coffee and/or dessert without any hint of hurrying me. Very pleasurable dining experience. Wish I could spend more time in Porto so that I could return and try more of the menu.

Great find as we were walking around in the not-touristy part of town. We intended to go elsewhere for dinner but found our choice closed. Mamma Mia caught our eye and we took our chance. I am glad we did. First off, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They did their best to explain (in English, because we are pathetic in Portuguese) a few items we had questions about. Our whole dining experience was excellent. We shared a green salad, which was fine. Nothing special and we did not expect much. It is a decent mix of greens. My wife's risotto with turbot and my octopus with "mivas" (I think this is what it is called, "traditional bread stuffing" ) were awesome. Great taste, flavour and texture. Finally, even though I am not a dessert person, I got tramisu, which was a great take on the traditional version. Overall, very happy we walked in and dined at Mamma Mia.
