Usually I’m a fan of glad. Not the greatest yakitori selection, but everything is pretty tasty most of the time. It’s weird how sometimes it’s insanely busy and sometimes it’s totally dead. Anyway, my wife and I went in on a busy night and they said “don’t worry, a table for 2 just opened up so it should only be about 5 minutes”. Although there were others waiting ahead of us, they were all in a large group waiting for a table for 7 to open up. We waited like idiots for 20-25 minutes as customers finished and left and at least 3 tables opened. The staff could care less that we were waiting and even though we checked from time to time they just kept saying “just a few more minutes”. As we decided this was enough and walked out the group of 7 said they had been waiting an hour. Sorry, but this place has the absolute worst waiting staff. They are just a bunch of kids who have no idea what they’re doing and just run around accomplishing nothing.
