2nd Best place to eat in Honolulu! A man that we sat next to on our flight over told us about Leonard's Bakery ( 5***** must go!) and L & L Drive in / L&L BBQ. He was right! He told us that L&L looked like a dump but everyone loves it, he loves the macaroni salad and I thought that was weird, since I've never been a macaroni salad fan, but he was right, it ALL was FANTASTIC! You have to try the 3 meat dinner! Soo much delicious food for $9.50! My wife was sceptical when we pulled up but the man on the plane was right about Leonard's so we went in. She had a large Pork & cabbage rice bowl that was one of the best things that I've ever tasted! As it turns out, everyone that I know that have family in Hawaii loves L&L! Trust me, find this place, make yourself go in and you'll return every chance you get!!!!!

Location is super sketchy, but food was some of the best we had on all of Oahu! Huge portions and reasonable prices, and tender, tasty chicken katsu and lau lau. We sampled many plate lunches on the island, and my kids ranked L & L’s katsu and macaroni salad as #1. Highly recommend!!

This L&L is Garbage... Kalua Pork Tasted a day old, had a sour vinegar smell, oh and they serve there bowls in Styrofoam(Polystyrene) unlike every other L&L that uses the safer Polyethylene.. Never eating at this L&L again..

Ordered Kailua pork and cabbage bowl at mapunapuna location. Got a small styrofoam soup container instead. Very little cabbage, and even less pork. Tasted like it was soaking in the greasy bottom of the pan all day. Had to throw it away. It was horrible!!! I've gotten the same thing at other L & L's and the came in an actual plastic bowl and tasted amazing.

Decent plate lunches. Don't expect too much. Wait times can be long during lunch hours.

The Kalua Pig was really good. So was the spicy garlic shrimp.

My food tasted like lighter fluid. It was 100% inedible.

One of my favorite place to eat around Ward. Prices are just right and food are freshly made

L &L BBQ is one of many local favorites, it's a great place to catch a quick lunch. The portioning is good, prices okay, the food... GREAT! SUPER SMALL PARKING LOT... So parking can be an issue. But St.Louis School and Chaminade are very very close, so for students it's a wonderful choice

Eye love the Chicken Katsu plate!

It's the typical local food that you'd expect from a L&L. This location has been here for quite some time. Price wise..It's competitive against other local fast food places in the area. Economics of today don't always make it the cheapest or great food. It's just okay if you're hungry and just want a quick way to satisfy that hunger.

Horrible experience the lady at the cashier is so mean and the way she talk and take order is so disrespectful and sarcastic she's like disgusted in our existence. Me and my BF are VERY DISAPPOINTED! Also the food wasn't good either, go somewhere else!

The menu had a descent selection, my family and I chose to try their chicken/beef teriyaki bowls because they seemed to be priced descent. I liked how they advertised the nutrition information on the menu board next to the item. The food was very tasty especially for nearly $5 a bowl. They charged for refills on pop which I hate! The store was presentable, though and there was really no customer service. I'd eat there again.
