I arrived for happy hour and must say the selection is limited for happy hour meals. The happy hour drinks were watered down and must say the only good one was the happy hour margarita. The happy hour food was essentially non existent and seems to be more drinking finger foods. I ordered the two choice barbeque plate with brisket and ribs. The ribs were a bit dry and the brisket was your standard fare. Really nothing to write home about and nothing that stood out with the meat. The barbeque was decent and my favorite part of the meal was the garlic dinner rolls. The price of the meal was not justified for what I got or the flavor. I would not return to eat here unless tagging along with someone. If your looking for a better happy hour restaurant in this area, I'd go with claim jumpers that is a minutes walk from wood ranch.

The manager , Demi, makes coming back to the rest. such a please. Her staff of servers is the best ever. Angel makes you feel like his family when dining there. The food is excellent and the price is right. I highly recommend going there when you want to feel good about going out for lunch or dinner.

Prices are high for most of their items. Had a full rack of Baby Back ribs. There was very little meat on each bone and the meat was mostly dry and overcooked. Had baked beans (Bushes Brand Basic baked beans are much better tasting than these). They also were overcooked. The rolls and coleslaw however were very good. I had to give them a break with a 2 star rating because their coleslaw with the peanut dressing really was very good. I may go back for a second try, but not for awhile.

Meat-centric barbecue chain, located at the North end of the mall. There's a large (mall-size) parking lot, with a handful of spots in front of the restaurant reserved for picking up take-out. You can order online or call in. In spite of the large interior, there's typically a wait during normal meal times. If you're not picky and don't have a large party, you can usually score seats at the bar where the full menu is served. Meals in the restaurant come with complimentary garlic rolls. It's easy to over-do it, so take it slow -- portion sizes tend to the large and are filling. Staff is pleasant and service is generally good.

We have loved coming to Wood Ranch and have often bought large platters of food for family get-togethers. The Tri-tip and BBQ ribs are delicious and the BBQ chicken breast is moist and flavorful. The “sweet n tangy” BBQ sauce is just right. And my favorite side dishes are the Mac n Cheese and baked potato! Service has always been extra courteous and prompt when we visit. The only downside for me is that you often have to wait a while if you go out for dinner because the place gets packed! But overall it’s a pretty good BBQ place.

Great place for good food, good friends, great times. Have I mentioned they've got some excellent barbecue! And you would do well to try out their craft beer taps, they've got a whole slew of them. Parking? Not a problem, you've got the entire Northridge Fashion Mall to choose from..

Wide variety of barbecue, sandwiches, with chicken beef or pork.... ribs, Salad and great side dishes also. Food always tastes freshly prepared. Ample free and convenient parking. Friendly and fast service. Big place never over crowded.

I like this place, be advised there is usually a wait even on weekdays, especially around dinner time of course. They also have takeout with dedicated parking and you can order online.

Excellent food here, the meat is grilled to Perfection! The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the service was very slow because the place was pretty crowded. We went on a Sunday night.

Food was great... Service level not so great... there were other Customers that were very loud and disrespectful to others with there loud conversation. I told waitress she wasn't comfortable in tell them about there disruption...

Great food great service and some really attractive bar maids! Best bet on busy weekends is to eat at the bar and avoid the hour long wait for a table.
