A hotel staff recommended this place as it’s very close to where we stay. On google it’s got 4.4 marks, so I thought we could give it a try. It turned out be a total disappointment. The waiter served us was very aloof. He just dropped the plates and dishes without saying anything. The garlic mushroom was way too salty. The fried calamari was an absolute blaze. The chicken wings and paella were at most just edible. If someone with a day job can cook them, then I will give him a pack at the back. But we’re talking about a restaurant managed by professional chef here. We’ve tried many nice restaurants during our 4-day stay in Barcelona. This is definitely the worst one.

This was not a good eating experience. All of the seafood specials are for two persons and as my wife does not eat seafood i could not enjoy the meal i was looking forward to. The waiter was not willing to order the dish for one person. We had tomato bread to start and it had very little tomato on it. When we sent it back it came out again with extra oil but no extra tomato. My wife ordered spaghetti bolognaise but the meat was of poor quality. Overall not a good night.

It’s hard to give an honest appraisal as we didnt actually eat here. We were sat upstairs, the waiter approached us with menus. we asked what on the menu was gluten free.. his reply was “everything has gluten except salad” Sadly, a typical response from Barcelona restaurant staff who clearly have no knowledge of the menu. Such a shame as you came highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant. Good location, modern, warm and very inviting design. Large food selection. Tasty and cost effective lunch deal: 3 good starters Main course Desert Soft drink & coffee For 24€. One lunch was enough for 2.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious! The English speaking waitstaff were very attentive and helped us navigate the menu. My mother and I both ordered the three course meal. The food was authentic and delicious. My favorite was the tagliatelle with seafood and the seafood paella. There are two floors to the restaurant. There is a street level seating area which is bright and lively. However, I truly enjoyed sitting upstairs! The room is bright and relaxing. The atmosphere makes you forget about the hustle and bustle on the street below but the huge windows offer a great view of the action. There is even a living wall! We were early for lunch (by European standard) so we were the first people to sit upstairs. By the time we left, about 2:30, the entire restaurant was full! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would go back again.
