The points in favour are the cheese croquettes and the coffee were good, and in Barcelona in this area, prices were reasonable. The wine was good value. And the veal I had was well cooked and nicely presented, so 2 stars. However, the staff seemed a bit stressed and unhappy, the plates were cold and the food lukewarm, and there was major glass and cutlery cleaning going on just 12 feet away from us at the bar throughout the meal. The ambience was lacking, and the colour scheme a bit drab. Wouldn't go back there.

My boyfriend and I both got food poisoning!! We ordered paella and it was the worst paella we ever had. Smelled rotten and tasted rotten. We barely touched it and had to pay the 30 euros for it all. Do not eat here!!

The Tapas selection was excellent along with many wines that you're able to sample. As much as I enjoyed the Cod, the confit that it was with was a little overly sweet. The interior had a beautiful, colorful, lively atmosphere on the inside, and the building itself is beautiful and preserves its historic character.
