Disappoiting experience at Yamane I love food and I have worked in a Japonese restaurant but.. The portions are super small witch makes the dishes expensive comparing to the quantity You have a limit of minimum pay with the credit card We we're asked to pay before we ate For sure we wont turn back here

We are food lovers and we we're disappointed by this place. Although it looks beautiful inside and the shop is located in the heart of Born, it doesn't look so promising when it comes to food: 1. Portions are super small and not proportionate to the price. We took a pad Thai (5 euro) and we received a tapas size of plate. 2.The ingredientas we're good but the variety was poor 3. We ate inside and we we're asked to pay immediately after the order 4. You have a payment limit by credit card (15 euro) but the owner was nice and he let us pay 7 euro with the card. Since we we're still hungry after the small portion of pad Thai, I wanted to order some more but couldn't because I had to make a 7 euro order, since we pay at the beginning. We are not tourists and we definitely are food lovers and knowers. I wont come here again and I don't reccomand this place.

Yamane is more than a typical Japanese restaurant. Yamane is a small and quiet local restaurant located in a central square of the city of Barcelona. When you enter Yamane you feel that you have traveled in just seconds from Barcelona to Japan because of the setting and decor of the place. It has only two tables to eat in the local because also serves food to take away, also serve the food in the terrace of the bar "Casa Paco" that is located right next door. While you wait for the food you can browse Japanese comics called "mangas" or original Japanese magazines. The owner is a young Japanese man who has been living in Barcelona for several years, a very kind and attentive person who always provides his clients with the best service. If you go to Yamane you should try the chicken and the authentic Sushi made right away. All the dishes are made with the best quality ingredients. You can accompany the meal with a Japanese beer or sake, which is a wine made with rice that can be taken hot or cold. So, if you ever have the chance, it’s well worth visiting Yamane.

This place is a real gem. It's a tiny Japanese restaurant that offers handmade traditional food. The owner is such a nice kind Japanese man and he prepares the food with his wife just behind the counter. There are only two table but you can sit outside at the tables in front of Casa Paco, you order your meal at Yamane and your drinks at Casa Paco and everybody is happy this way (they have an agreement). The food is DELICIOUS. We had sushi and mochi for dessert, you can recognise handmade mochi and this one was the best I've ever had. I will miss this place.
