Good local spot for lunch. Amazing portions at unreal price... attentive and friendly staff with good command of English. We loved the "Escudella"... typical catalan dish.
I've been at this place with my girlfriend and beside the fact was Tuesday we were the only customer there eating! We chosen the house menu which is in catalán so get ready to spend at least 30 mins to translate every single word to get the meaning! We both had artichokes as starter and I had an entrecote quite big and my girlfriend some small fishes we really didn't expect because we didn't understand the translation from the menu! We found in the toilet 1 dead cockroach and when was the time of the dessert we took 2 different cakes and they were terrible and mine had mold inside. So definitely be careful if you decide to go.
When calçots are available, I go here roughly once every two weeks. Its very Catalan. The dishes are always very good and the service friendly. They are always nice and patient with my terrible Spanish. Just be patient with them as well. This is a locals place and they probably aren't equipped for tourists. But I'd heartily recommend them.
