Tasty local cuisine .. not too "chef-y" at all .. Solid local choice in a nice area , you won't go wrong picking here .. Short menu with large dishes and small tapas plates .. Squid on pork belly was very good. Overall recommended

My fiancée and I have been looking forward to coming here for months. We came by when it was supposed to be open and it was closed, we figured it was a fluke so we came back again a few days later and it was closed. We gave it two tries! If you’re going to be closed during business hours for some reason please put up a sign so customers don’t waste their time.

Fantastic dining experience! Forget the whiny negative reviews... Arrived slightly before their first dinner sitting at 8pm, they welcomed us without reservations, invites us to come in early to have a drink - as long as we would be done before the second sitting at 10pm. Waiter was super friendly and great with recommendations. Staff spoke English, and they did have an English menu (which was the same as the menu in Catalan, not a dumbed down menu at all). Place was also popular with locals. Food was the bar none the best meal I had in Barcelona! Tender pork cheeks and fresh scallops, shrimp/seafood paella with an explosion of flavour, refreshing potato salad with dairy foam and smoke salmon, perfectly seasoned shrimp croquettes. Great desserts made in house. This restaurant is a mandatory experience!
