I will (and have already) gladly recommend(ed) this restaurant to my friends. We came on a Friday night when they had every table full and yet our waiter was gracious, warm and helpful throughout the evening. My girlfriend and I had not seen each other in over a year so, for my friend, my husband and myself it was a treat to linger over dinner and just have a chance to talk, laugh and be together. The wait staff cleaned up the other parts of the restaurant allowing us time to finish and once again go into the night. My thanks for giving us a lovely memory.

Great Atmosphere and Great Food! Every year my family makes the trek to San Francisco and Cioppino's is a must stop for us! The day after Christmas our tribe of 9 made the trek once again. As you can imagine, we ordered vastly different items from the menu but everyone said their meal was delicious. As you can see from my pictures, we ordered Steak, pizza, chicken fingers for the little ones, cheese tortellini, mac n cheese and a platter of fried everything! The food was delicious and the service was great even though the place was packed with Happy Hour goers! We enjoyed ourselves and the place filled up immediately after we sat down around 5:20pm. By the time we left at 6:30pm, there was a hungry-people line out the door waiting to be seated. PROs: Great food and great atmosphere; Happy Hour selection is some of the best on Fisherman's Wharf; great wine list, hearty portions, family friendly, bar seating, water view seating, can accommodate large and small/intimate group sizes, outdoor/indoor dining and friendly servers. CONs: Parking...it's Fisherman's Wharf... What more can I say... $$Pricey but not outrageous... No reservations are available here so get there early and get on the list. But most of all, enjoy the food and atmosphere at Cioppino's!
