Hidden gem of a museum in london provides a snapshot of life through the ages inside people's homes and other interesting artefacts. Truly worth making the visit away from the usual museum mile

Very interesting l, well-run small museum, which is very good if you are interested in how the home has changed throughout the centuries. However, the cafe could show some improvement, as it was slow.

We thought this museum would be lame from it's description but were close by and took a look in. It was actually fab! It was really interesting to see all the different historical styles, the exhibits were really visual and nice. There was also a lot of context given to what we saw, which was so cool because it made it so that we were completely interested and engaged rather than just wandering through aimlessly (which, despite best intentions, is often what happens at museums). We were sad that we came so close to closing time!
