An important location that tells us much about the Stuart's.

Historic place, location easily accessible by London Underground Tube network. Near Big Ben. Interiors are superb - the paintings on the ceiling of the main banquet hall are superb. At the welcome drinks area on the ground floor good educative display material about how masques were used to create depth of vision for plays back in the King's days. Cloak room staff are very friendly.

Very small but laying on the bean bags and staring at the wonderful ceiling and listening to the audio guide was very relaxing
