Halona Blowhole Lookout is located along Oahu’s majestic southeast shoreline, off of Hanauma Bayat Hālona Point.
It features Halona Blowhole, a natural wonder formed by molten lava tubes from volcanic eruptions long time ago. When the wave is high, the blowhole shoots up to 30 feet of water up in the air. So, you need to have some patience, for the water to come up.
Aside from this lava rock formation, you can also enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean, islands of Molokai and Lanai. During the winter months, some humpback whales are being spotted off the shore. There are also green sea turtles diving and swimming around.
Open 24 hours.
