I've eaten here twice now and loved it every time. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, HUGE menu, fun ordering system (you write the number of the meal you want down on a post-it and stick it on the end of your table for your waiter to deliver to the kitchen), parking is convenient (THANKS WALMART!) and it's easy on your wallet. The price of the dishes are comparable to other restaurants and you have to remember, the tip and tax are already included, so it feels even more like a steal. Don't miss out on the Garlic Creme Brulee or Grilled Chicken over Sweet Potato Bread Pudding. Also the Pulled Pork sliders are a smash out of the park!

Great concept, mediocre execution. Urban Bistro is a no-tip restaurant, meaning prices are a little higher and servers are paid a better wage. I can fully support this type of experience. The wait staff is still very friendly and helpful but aren't tasked with much. You write your order down yourself and they pick it up. They can be a little inattentive but that could be due to it being a new restaurant and trying to figure staffing out. The front of the house isn't necessarily rock solid, but perfectly acceptable. Where things start to fall apart is in the kitchen. The wait for food can be pretty long. When the food finally arrives its not always worth the wait and not always worth the added price due to the no-tip concept. To support the concept, the food and service need to be worth the added upfront cost. Sadly, right now I don't think it's worth it. I want to like this restaurant. The concept is great. The menu is solid. The execution leaves a lot lacking though. My last experience there, I ordered a $12 burger and then had to order a $6 appetizer plate of fries because the burger didn't come with any (they used to when they first opened). I fear the owners are not seeing the returns they want and are cutting back on what they give. Rework the menu, make it tastier, and increase the value that way, I'll pay a fair price. Don't nickle and dime me.
