Great food. Get the garlic chicken! Katsu is also good. Very thin. BBQ chx and “steak” are what you’d expect. Pricey, but what do you expect given the location? It’s a 4 star place for tourists (and 3 star or less for locals) all things considered but I’ve giving it a 5 to boost the average so you aren’t steered away by a low rating.

Ordered meals that took a great deal of time to get. Both were awful.

Pork Katsu was mediocre at best, more like a really shoddy chicken fried steak thin, tough, and covered in gravy. Also, maybe this is just the Texan in me, but surely anything with BBQ in the name should at least have some sort of pulled pork sandwich, but it’s really more like a shoddy diner.

Warning: if you've never had Hawaiian food before or local food. Don't come here to judge it. It doesn't justify local and Hawaiian food. Poor quality meat. Skimped out actual entree portions. Tons of carb fillers. Curry is too fluffy- It's not curry at all and it's got like gelatin to thicken it and the meat in it looks metallic. Overly priced. The cashier takes up one of the tables and eats huge portions in between service... Never again lol
