The famous giant mall of Oahu. It has changed quite a bit over the last two decades...feels like just another mega-franchise/brand mall like any other one in the world. Still fun to hang out here. Go to the Japanese food court. Great food and cheap beer.

Be careful, you can easily spend a whole day here. Good selection of stores and places to eat. Truly a place that caters for all. The center is much larger than it appears so be sure to allow plenty of time to take it all in....or consult the directory/ store finder. Nice atmosphere also.

This place is amazing. And gigantic as well as pretty pricey. It's definitely cut out mostly for those with a hefty wallet. But there's some places that are reasonable. But at Ala Moana center you pay for the experience and the amazement of the size, the amount of stores, all of the many places to dine, eat and drink there. It's basically has everything for the consumer. Good for travelers, kids looking to meet with friends, great safe place first daters, working parents needing to grab groceries and tennis shoes all at once, it's there or to meet a large group of friends or family for a nice dinner. Ala Moana Center has it all and has had it all since 1969.
