Christian gave me greens and not the potato chips I asked for, sandwich had too strong of a mustard flavor.

Very nice NY-ish place. Great grilled chesse + bacon sandwich. Awesome veggies sandwich. Smiling service. 5 stars! P.S. if you choose salad, ask for the dressing on a side, it tastes delicious, but it may be too much quantity

This place looks authentic and inviting from the outside, but the food was a total disappointment. Why would you want to buy a salty pea&ham "soup of the day" which you can get from a can you can buy for a few bucks at CVS? Hmm, maybe because it's warm :-\ What is different between the "avocado turkey sandwich" you can get at Boudin, and the one you can find in pretty much any airport, or in any other sandwich place? The price! Why would you want to eat a salad that consists of stale romaine pieces covered is some brownish substance? No idea. Fortunately, there are many places authentic to SF, with local tasty food that also makes you feel good about buying it and eating it, just few steps away, at a comparable or lower price. Thumbs down, Boudin. On the positive side, I hope the homeless person liked the second half of the "avocado turkey sandwich". If you didn't like your food - save it for the homeless, you won't need to look far to find them in the vicinity of this place.

Had a lovely lunch today. Mom had her regular Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl. I had my favorite Avocado Toast with Pesto and Egg. Service as usual was professional and friendly. We are looking forward to returning to try the new Bread Bowl Combinations.

The clam chowder sourdough bread bowl is top notch; rich, creamy and thick with so much flavor you'll freak. The croissant breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Not to mention the coffee, I'll definitely be coming back.
