Well, there was a white dreaded yogascrawny dude meditating on the bench outside, but that just added character. The pastries are amazing, the coffee is top notch, and they can crank through the crowd pleasantly and efficiently. Where else could you get take-out bakery goods this fine?

Living in NYC I'm obviously a huge fan of the ubiquitous "Jewish deli." Gjusta is essentially this at heart, but with a decidedly local vibe and flavor. There are no misses on the menu - I've had nearly everything here - and their cheese, meat, and fish plates are a great solution for entertaining. Just note, all this deliciousness comes at a price....
