Not on my return list. Was appalled by tourists, of whom I was one being allowed to walk through the church during mass. We were led through the sacristy almost on the altar when the mass was going on. So close to the celebrants that we could almost touch the bread and wine. Apparently this is common practice and acceptable. Be prepared. I was not and felt so bad. It was like a circus going on during mass. How the devout participants managed to pray I'll never know. As a Catholic it made me feel so bad and I advised the guide who shrugged it off. Not the way I was taught to behave in church. So so sad and disrespectful.

You cannot but feel this place is indeed holy. Awe-inspiring. The most respected religious site in Poland.

Very spiritual. Beautiful and well preserved. It can be very crowed, but it is still possible to move around without major issues.
