This is the International City Airport of Sri Lanka. Mostly handles domestic operations and commonly used as an alternate Aerodrome for international movements(depending on the Aircraft). Located in a calm environment.Most of the Training Flights based around Colombo uses the Runway Strip for training purposes. Number of Flight Training Academies are based around this Airport. Airport staff is very friendly and helpful.No restaurants are located inside the Airport.
