I loved it here! It is very affordable! Also the food is very tasty and the atmosphere is nice. We didnt have to wait in line like the other marukame on kuhio. We had the paitan special and curry chicken katsu udon with croquettes and a salmon rice ball. Both noodles were very savory. There are also quite a variety of sauces to add to the food as well. Definitely will come back!

Best udon in town! The first time I tried this place out was for breakfast. Loved it so much I came back for lunch! Def try the Japanese curry or #1 with the sweet beef. Tasty broth and not too salty. Cheap eats with great flavor. They also serve yummy tempura. My fave are the mushrooms. Can get very busy mainly evening time especially on the weekends.

This was our first meal in Hawaii. Recommended by family and friends, we knew they had homemade noodles, yet it was still interesting to watch them make it as you go to make your order. The tempura bar was an interesting surprise. Seafood, vegetables, you name it...even a soft-boiled egg! Will certainly be back before we leave.
