While the service was good, the food was mediocre at best. The eggs royal were underwhelming and seemed like they might have been made awhile ago, as they arrived almost cold. Even if they were fresh, the taste wasn't anything special. If you are looking for a fantastic meal, go elsewhere.

I would've given two, but that seems harsh. I'm an Asian American female in her 20's. I can't eat much during the day and apparently this place discriminates against amount of food intake. I walk in, tell them I'm here alone, get a table and order from the menu... I ask for coffee and order a cake. I'm then told that this is a restaurant and that I need to order food. Food and plates as he said. Fair. If he had told me I need to order a certain dollar amount, I would've happily done so. Instead he said that if I want to eat, here with what I ordered, I need to sit in a corner near the door. So... subjective me is pissed and walked in because "coffee" was labeled on their signs. Objective me thinks his treatment towards me was because they're busy, lacking tables, and want to get people in and out the door. Coffee was okay. Oh, and I was the only asian in there, which it seems someone else had a similar experience.

Delicious avocado toast (vegan version) and the best coffee. We, 8 friends, stayed close by and went there every "morning." Lovely atmosphere, great service and I appreciate details like the good handsoap at he toalettes.
