I saw Brenda's featured on a Food Network segment on the best Fried Chicken in the country and since I was planning a trip to San Francisco I decided to check it out and was delighted to savor some of the best fried chicken that I have had in many years. The crust was tasty and crunchy with just the right amount of heat; but, not too much to over power the flavor of the chicken. The biscuit that came with the meal was also exceptional. It was fluffy, flaky and very tasty. I had the coleslaw with my meal and it was also very tasty even though the portion was very small. Come on, cabbage is cheep don't be stingy with the coleslaw. The only negative thing I have to say about the meal was the french fries were exceptionally mediocre, definitely did not measure up to the rest of the meal. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. I look forward to eating there again on my next trip to the City.

The outside patio makes you feel like you are in New Orleans and everything we ordered was delectable - fried chicken, fried catfish with remoulade sauce, smothered pork chops, the best macaroni and cheese around( I love that the cheese is melted on top in a cute bowl like a French onion soup- and for once I've found a place that doesn't fill their Mac and cheese with tasteless bread crumbs) and the peanut butter box pie melted in our mouths. They could not have been nicer about our very active two year old. Excellent food, and great vibe.
