I've been here a few times, with my family. Very pretty and the art galleries outside are beautiful. I can't wait to go back and show my loved ones where my dad is from. I LOVE OAXACA.
Spent three or more days sketching this beautiful wonder, but the true treasure is inside. Unless you're into it wouldn't get a guide just wander round and appreciate. If you go on a Saturday and you're quiet you can often see weddings and turning of age ceremonies which are a rich part of Mexican culture and the street parades after are also a wonder to see. If you hang around long enough you might even get a free shot of Mezcal.
