Colosseum The tour starts at the Colosseum, a masterpiece of Roman engineering and the largest amphitheatre of the ancient world. This enormous arena boasted 80 entrances and had a capacity of more than 50,000 spectators. Palatine Hill The final stop on the tour will be the Palatine Hill where the temples of the most important Roman gods were once located. You will also see the stunning square designed by Michelangelo as well as the Statue of Marcus Aurelius.
