During our visit of approximately one and a half hours, you will have the opportunity to see the ground floor of this wonderful building, an example of Sevillian civil architecture.

This palace, which is located next to the church of San Esteban, was built by the Marquis of Tarifa in the 15th century. After a trip to Jerusalem, he realized that from his house to the small temple of the Cruz del Campo there was the same distance as between the place where he was told the Praetorium of Pilate was and Mount Calvary, hence the peculiar name of this palace.

The house is an example of Gothic-Mudejar architecture in the city, and in its rooms and patios we can enjoy sculptures and portrait galleries that decorate its walls, as well as a vast example of Triana tilework.

During the visit we will walk through the different rooms on the ground floor, such as the chapel or the main patio decorated with magnificent sculptures, and we will end the visit in the gardens.
