Normally the tour starts here, at one of Funchal's main avenues, Infante Dom Henrique.

Along the seafront of downtown Funchal, there's Avenida do Mar, the longest in the city.

Santa Maria Street, the oldest in Funchal, located at the heart of Funchal's old town, although not as decorated as other streets in the city, it's old buildings provide a charming atmosphere to this part of the tour.
