Pick up from your accommodation in Casablanca and drive towards Marrakech via highway.

Marrakech
We travel from Marrakech to Atlas Mountains.

We drive then to Aguerssival village (1,600m), the starting location for the trip. Climb the Tizi n'Aguersssiaval pass on a limited but comfortable path (2,000m). The vista of the magnificent Imnan Valley opens up for the first time from the pass. Between the junipers, little terraced farms slope to the Assif n'Imnane River and the small Berber village of Ikkiss (1,800m). Continuing upstream along the river to Tinerhourhine. Before the ascent to Tizi n'Tamatert, eat a little snack (fruit, dates, nuts, keks) (2,280m).

Imlil
View of Imnane and Imlil Valley from there. Lunch picnic in the pass (salad, tajin, fruit, bread, tea). After lunch, follow the dark trail through the pine grove to Imlil.

Aroumd
A easy path ascends from Imlil to Aremd (1,945m), the final settlement on the way to Toubkal and the location for overnight. Accommodation at comfortable and cosy mountain guesthouse in double rooms. The bathroom and toilets are communal, however they are clean and European. Dinner will be served at the guesthouse.

Aremd – Sidi Chamharouch – Refuge Toubkal

Aroumd
The laborious ascent via the Mizane Ati Valley to the pastoral holy spot of Sidi Chamharouch (2,350m), which attracts many Moroccan pilgrims, begins at 9 a.m. Picnic lunch there or later, depending on your schedule.

Following the shrine, the track progressively ascends the serpentine and winding road to the Toubkal Refuge (3206m). Accommodation with other hikers.The Refuge's accommodations are fairly basic. Dinner at the Refugee camp.

Refuge Toubkal – Jebel Toubkal – Refuge Toubkal – Imlil – Marrakech - Casablanca

Breakfast is provided about 5 a.m., and the hike to the mountain begins early (4,167 m). The path follows the southern circuit, crossing the brook above the refuge. The trek is very easy, although due to the altitude, you will most likely go slower than usual. After approximately 3,5 hours, you should reach the summit. With the sunrise, the sights along the journey are breathtaking, and then at the summit, breath-taking views in every direction open up.
