Embark on an amazing journey to Porto, a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes. Its unique architecture, culture and traditions are famous around the world.
You'll start by leaving Lisbon and heading on to Águeda, passing by Costa Nova Beach, and Senhor da Pedra (optional).
Upon arriving in Porto, we'll have a walk around the town and see Clerigos Tower and Church, the famous centennial Lello Bookstore whose stairs were an inspiration to the stairs in Hogwarts, and of course, the main boulevard of Porto, Avenida dos Aliados.
After this, we'll move on to lunch (at your own expense). You can follow our guide's recommendation, or book your own!
In order to end this tour in the best way possible, before returning to Lisbon, we'll take on a guided visit of the Burmester Caves, and allow you a taste of it fabulous Porto Wine!

Torre dos Clerigos
The Church and Tower of Clérigos (18th century) is a remarkable architectural complex located in the city of Porto, Portugal, being considered the postcard of that city. The ensemble is located at the top of the Rua dos Clérigos, between the streets of São Filipe Néri (or São Filipe Nery) and Assunção. It integrates three main elements: Igreja dos Clérigos, Torre dos Clérigos and Casa da Irmandade, which connects the church and the tower and once housed the other services of the Irmandade dos Clérigos.

Sao Bento Railway Station
Porto Central Station, on the site of a former monastery, was completed in 1916. The interior is enriched with tiles by Jorge Colaço, depicting old means of transport, festivities and historical scenes.

Avenida dos Aliados is an important street in the parish of Santo Ildefonso, in downtown Porto, in Portugal. With the Praça da Liberdade and the Praça do General Humberto Delgado it constitutes a continuous urban fabric. It is the main avenue and the centre of the city of Porto.

Burmester
The Burmester Cellars are located in Vila Nova de Gaia in a privileged location on the Douro River, next to the Luiz I bridge. Open to the public for guided tours of the space and tastings of port wines, they stand out from the rest due to the history they contain and their authentic character. Upon entering these cellars, one is transported to the brand narrative started by Henry Burmester and John Nash - founders of Burmester Nash & Co. in 1750.
