Itinerary

Delhi to Haridwar & Haridwar Sightseeing

1
New Delhi Your private tour of Haridwar & Rishikesh starts at 6:00 AM from Your Hotel in New Delhi/Noida/Gurugram and we proceed to Haridwar along with your tour guide/leader. Enjoy the breakfast (At your own Cost) on the way. Upon reaching Haridwar, check-in to the Hotel. Relax & freshen up and join the leader for Lunch at your own cost. Post Lunch, we take a cable car ride to the top of one of the hills and visit the Mansa Devi temple and Chandi Devi temple. Mansa Devi temple or Bilwa Tirath, a Hindu goddess that is believed to fulfill each and every wish of its devotees. Also, one of the five pilgrimage destinations or Panch Tirath of Haridwar. This temple is the apex of Siddh Peeth triangle- Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, and Maya Devi. In the evening, travel to the banks of the river Ganges to witness the Aarti ceremony. A view containing thousands of devotees holding Diya’s and flowers in their hand. The Aarti is the sight to behold; you will be on the other side of the banks and could see the priests light up the lamps. Slowly, they start moving the lamps in the clockwise direction, in a rhythmic way. The reflection of lamps is visible on the Ganges. The mighty Ganga has a strong current which indicates its purpose in life—loving unconditionally all those who come on its banks. The river never uses its own water, yet it flows for the benefit of others who quench their spiritual thirst at its banks. Sitting on the banks, you can only be in awe of the river which delivers you from your sins, pain as well as tiredness with a single dip in it. At the end of the Aarti, Return back to the Hotel. Overnight stay in a Hotel in Haridwar.
