This adventure begins on the Hvammsvik Hot Springs. You and your local guide will ride in a luxury Jeep to the Hvammsvik Hot Springs Baths. After relaxing in the Hot Springa for a bit, you’ll enjoy a meal at the restaurant and then set out in search of the magical Northern Lights.
Hvammsvík Hot Springs concept was inspired by the Old Hot Spring that has been on the property for decades, as well as rock formations that are seen along the coastline in Hvammsvík. The pools were formed using rocks from the surroundings, in harmony with the nature and wildlife.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so we can’t guarantee that we’ll see them on your tour. Our guides will reschedule with you if the forecast indicates that the lights won’t be visible. For that reason, we strongly suggest that you book your tour for your first night in town.

Hvammsvik Hot Springs
Hvammsvík is a unique and authentic experience in unspoiled nature away from the crowds as you linger in our eight natural hot springs that glide into the ocean surrounded by majestic mountains and black beaches. Enjoy the legendary seafood soup, drinks, and world-class art in the beautifully designed facilities where every detail counts.
The total tour duration includes travel time.
One hour from pickup to Hvammsvík, three hours total in Hvammsvík, one hour back to Reykjavík, and three hours searching for the Northern Lights.
