Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

(We offer complimentary airport pick up for all our guests arriving by flight in the morning of Day 1 - pick up time will be at 6am from the airport to the departure point in Nairobi city)
At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara. You will pass via the great rift valley view point where you will have a stop over of 10 -15 minutes to view the rift valley. Lunch will be at the lodge in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a sunset evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve (4.00 to 6.00 p.m).
Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five.

After breakfast, you will leave for a full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five and the annual wildebeest’s migration which alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the seventh wonder of the world. At midday, You will have picnic lunch in the park which is provided by us. You will visit the site of the yearly wildebeest migration and see the resident crocodiles and hippos sited at the banks of Mara river, then continue with the game drive of the mara reserve
Optional: In the Morning, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people.

Mara River
The Mara River is a river in Narok County (Kenya) and in Mara Region (Tanzania), and lies across the migration path of ungulates in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. This is the site where the wildebeest migration takes place. There are a lot of resident hippos and crocodiles.
