What To Expect
Start the excursion by mountain biking at the top of the Montes de Málaga (4,350 m) and a descent through meadows, streams and observe the Valle de la Convención according to the descent, we will find a different flora of the dry bush, characteristic from the forest area, lunch also in the middle of the road, after approximately 4 hours by bicycle we will arrive at 1430 meters high Santa María. our first day of rest in the hostel basic service, dinner. The second day starts early with an excursion to climb towards the original Inca Trail and enjoy the rich ecosystems that these landscapes have to offer. Panoramic view of the valley and the river before descending to the town of Qellomayo for lunch. Continue the trail to the hot springs of Cocalmayo. On the third day explore more of the Urubamba Valley and zip line through the Santa Maria trees before beginning the final leg to the ancient citadel. a short drive will take you to Aguas Calientes. First thing in the morning you will be at the top of Machu Picchu enjoy a short guided walking tour before catching the train back to Cusco.
