Itinerary

Delhi - Agra - Jaipur by Train

Taj Mahal Early morning pickup at 5am from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida, and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station where you board your deluxe train to city of the Taj Mahal, Agra. 6am - Your super-fast train Shatabdi Exp (Train No. 12002) departs from New Delhi Railway Station. Breakfast will be served onboard, while you enjoy the countryside during the 2-hour trip. 8am - Arrival at Agra Railway Station you will be met by your representative/driver at the main exit gate. Visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and the world's best-known tomb, standing testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays) 11:30am - Visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. and made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. 1pm - Lunch Break, Lunch will be provided at the Local Restaurant 2pm - You may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leatherware, brassiere, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work. 5pm - Leave for railway station Agra and take the train to Jaipur. 9:20pm - Arrive at Jaipur, and drive to your hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur Sightseeing and Delhi by Train

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind 8am - Visit the Amber Fort, which used to be the capital of the Kachhwaha clan, till Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727. 10am - Drive pass and photo stop at Hawa Mahal, built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the most stunning sight in the city of Jaipur. 10:30am - Visit City Palace, the principle residence of the ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. Part of it now converted into a magnificent museum. Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory raised in the 18th century. 1pm - Lunch Break, Lunch will be provided at the Local Restaurant 2:30pm - Enjoy a shopping tour in Jaipur, an excellent place to shop and visit cottage industry specializing in hand-woven carpets and textiles. Witness how silk carpets are handmade. Some of the most popular items are precious gemstones, silver jewelry, bangles, clothes, blue pottery, and textiles. 5:20pm - Transfer to the Jaipur Railway Station. 10:40pm - Train arrives at New Delhi Railway Station. Be drop-off at your hotel
