Experience Oktoberfest and Munich's rich beer history at its finest on the famous Oktoberfest Experience! Learn the history of both the city and the autumn festival while enjoying Bavarian food and drink in central Munich and at the festival grounds.

The day starts with a traditional Bavarian breakfast (beer included of course!) in the city center where you will meet your guide for the day. Then make your way through Munich to the world’s largest inner-city beer garden where you learn more about beer, beer gardens and cellars. Along the way you taste different types of popular beers in Bavaria.

Arrive at the much-awaited Oktoberfest grounds and bypass the crowds to your reserved tables – complete with assorted Bavarian meats & cheeses. Take some photos with the lederhosen clad waiters and enjoy typical fest fare 2 liters of beer and a half-roasted chicken.

•  Public transportation options are available nearby
•  Suitable for all physical fitness levels
•  You must be 18 years of age and present a valid photo ID in order to consume alcohol
•  At least 4 people are required for this product to take place
•  Back packs are not allowed in the tents due to security reasons
•  Purses are allowed but only up to a capacity of three litres volume or a size of 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm.
•  DSLR cameras are OK but we don't recommend it, a smart phone camera is more than enough
•  Ladies: wear comfortable walking shoes or a low wide heal, Munich is a beautiful city with lots of cobble stoned streets.
•  Getting dressed up in Dirndle and Lederhosen will make it a trip to remember along with all those photos
•  Book a group multi day train ticket so its easy to get around - MVV Group Ticket 1 or 3 day
•  Cash, just in-case you want to buy a souvenir or get a cab and such
•  Make sure that you bring the business card of your hotel with you (you wouldn't believe how many forget where they're staying)
•  Bring a photo copy of your valid ID but leave the original in your hotel room
