Tambopata National Reserve
In the afternoon, we will have an expedition to Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon, to observe the large number of black and white alligators that live in this zone. You will love the spectacular sunset and the beautiful heaven colors. We will return to the lodge for a good dinner, and rest.

Puerto Maldonado

Tambopata National Reserve
One of the best moments of sleeping in the jungle, is waking up listening to the sounds that nature gives to us. After breakfast, we will start a walk towards the depths of the jungle, to observe the flood forest until arriving to the majestic Lake Apu Victor, with beautiful landscapes and crystal clear waters.
We will go up to the Amazon viewpoint, and to appreciate the wonderful Peruvian jungle, and a great variety of flora and fauna. We will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Monkey Islands, located in the heart of the Madre de Dios River.
During the walk, we will observe different types of monkeys, and animals in general. We will enjoy a beautiful sunset. At the end, we will return to the lodge for dinner.

We’ll pick you up from the hotel, and start the half day trip visiting the Temple of Coricancha, aslo known as Golden Temple, for its gold richness that this place housed.

Then, we’re going to visit the Cusco Cathedral located in the Plaza de Armas, to appreciate a beautiful religious paintings of the Cusco School.

Sacsayhuaman
The tour continues to the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, an amazing place with huge carved stone walls which fit each other in a perfect way.

Q'enqo
Later, we will visit the religious temple of Qenqo, place where the Incas worshiped their Gods like the Sun, the Moon and the Earth.

Tambomachay
We will continue this entertaining excursion in the military compound of Puca Pucara, which means “Red Fortress” for its reddish infrastructure. Then we will go the water’s worship center of Tambomachay, with aqueducts and waterfalls provided from nearby springs.

We will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco, to start a 30 Km. journey until Pisac. This fantastic place has an amazing market, and archaeological temples of stone buildings, with incredible views to the valley and the magnificent Inca platforms.

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

You will take the train and start the travel to Machu Picchu a little more than 3 hours’ journey to Aguas Calientes train station. Upon arrival, you will board the bus until the entrance of the wonderful Citadel of Machu Picchu.

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu
The guided tour will let you explore this awesome archeological site, also known as The Lost City of the Incas, for 2 hours. This place has an important local flora and fauna, surrounded by different types of orchids, and tree forests. Also, in this area lives insects, mammals, and birds as the “Gallito de las Rocas”, declared the Peruvian national bird.
Enjoy your free time in Machu Picchu taking pictures or if you are brave you can climb Huayna Picchu mountain (optional), and admire the entire citadel around. Huayna Picchu means “Young Mountain” and it has an altitude of 2,700 meters above sea level. It is a challenging climbing; however, it could be the best experience of your life.

San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas
We will begin a 1-hour journey towards the beautiful south valley in order to make the first stop in Andahuaylillas situated at 3,093 meters above sea level.
This lovely Andean town has an incredible jewel of the architecture dating back to the seventeenth century known as the Sistine Chapel, with an impressive work covered in gold leaf and paintings of the art school of Cusco.
There is a fascinating artwork inside the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, ceilings and walls decorated in a Baroque style, many of them belong to the Peruvian painter Luis de Reaño. Definitely, it should be a must in your travel bucket list.

Parque Arqueologico De Raqchi
The bus ride continues, for one hour and a half, until reach the archaeological site of Raqchi, our second stop located at 3,450 meters above sea level. The temple of Wiracocha was built next to the Vilcanota River during the fifteenth century and, currently, it has huge walls that belonged to temples, as well as aqueducts and tombs.
In this place, there are circular storehouses known as Colcas. Them were used to hold different kind of grains such as quinoa, potato, corn, among others. Another interesting fact is that Raqchi is part of the incredible Inca Trail.

The tour to Puno by bus continues until we reach the city of Sicuani to enjoy a buffet lunch in a local restaurant, that offers local and regional dishes, vegetables, desserts and hot drinks like mate de coca.

La Raya Pass
After lunch and a travel of 40 minutes by bus, we are going to reach the highest point of the tour called La Raya Pass, situated at 4,335 meters above sea level. This is the border of the cities of Cusco and Puno, and here, we are going to make a short stop to admire the snow-capped Chimboya and take pictures of beautiful landscapes.

Museo Litico Pukara
The next and the last visit will be at Museum of Pucara, after a trip of more than an hour from La Raya pass. This museum has an excellent collection of monoliths, stone sculptures and ceramics belonging to the culture of Pucara, a civilization developed in the highlands of Peru and Bolivia.

Puno
At the end, we will take the tourist bus to travel for two more hours towards the city of Puno. Along the way you will be able to admire landscapes of the heart of the Andes, passing through the city of Juliaca, until we arrive at the bus station of Puno at 05:00 p.m.

Lake Titicaca

Uros Floating Islands
You will be transferred to the lake port of Puno, where a regular boat will take you to the floating islands of the Uros. The Uros are an ancestral society that populate a series of artificial islands built on the basis of the totora plant, which grows in the same lake. The islands are constructed by weaving the totora in the places where it grows thicker and forming a natural layer. On top of it they built their houses, also of totora, and cook outdoors to prevent possible fires.

After Uros visit and, an hour and a half boat trip, you will continue your journey to the island of Taquile. This is Quechua, unlike the other Aymara speaking islands on the lake. It was part of the Inca empire and vestiges of this culture can still be seen in its constructions. Once there you will be given a brief explanation of the island and witness a cultural activity. After lunch, you will return to the port of Puno, where our transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Free morning for rest or personal activities. In the afternoon, the journey begins with the transfer from the hotel to the center of Arequipa city, in the colonial district of San Lazaro, place where the city has been founded.

Plaza de Armas
Then, we will visit the Main Square, one of the most beautiful in Peru, and neighbor of the imposing Arequipa cathedral built in the seventeenth century and completely rebuilt after several earthquakes. We will see the Cathedral and the Church Compañía de Jesús (1590), considered a classic example of the local baroque architecture that keeps inside a sample exceptional paintings and murals.

Monasterio de Santa Catalina
From there we will go to Santa Catalina Monastery, an authentic medieval cloister built in 1579 and is still in use to this day.

Then, we will visit Yanahuara and Carmen Alto districts to have a Panoramic view of the countryside, without a doubt a fantastic image. Return to the hotel.

In the night, we will go to the Larco Museum in a shared transport, to visit it with knowledgeable local guide.
Enter the museum and begin your enriching exploration of the exhibitions; see over 50,000 ancient Peruvian pots; admire glittering jewelry and intricate masks; marvel at the accurate detail of Moche portrait vessels, ceramic sculptures resembling human faces; and discover ceramics created by ancient Inca, Nazca and Chancay cultures.
After gaining heightened historical insight, take a seat in the elegant dining room to begin your culinary experience. Enjoy the ambient atmospheric and beautifully sculpted gardens as you sip a freshly mixed pisco sour and converse with your companion. Pleasure your palate with regional specialties.
After dinner, you will be driven back to your hotel.
