There are four different sessions offered to choose from: wheel-turning, mosaic, and two ceramic painting techniques, majolica (with a brush) and dry rope (using a knob to apply the paint).
In the wheel-turning session, participants will receive a brief introduction to the process of creating pieces. They will then have the opportunity to make as many pieces as time allows during the session. Firing of the pieces is included, but you will need to wait a week to pick them up, as they require drying and firing.
For the majolica and dry rope techniques, you will be able to decorate a 15x15 cm tile with Sevillian motifs, although many choose to create their own designs, which is entirely possible. These pieces will be ready to be picked up between 2 and 3 days after the session.
Finally, the mosaic session is ideal for those who have a short stay in Seville. A 10x10 cm mosaic is made with a free design, where you will learn how to cut the tiles and adhere them to the tile. The best thing is that you can take your creation home the same day.
