Cortiçarte – Art in Cortiça was founded in 2000 and arose from a vast legacy of its predecessors in the area of working cork and the know-how acquired over several years of experience.
It is positioned in the market as a competitive and innovative company, with the ability of viability and promotion of cork, and whose pillars are based on the quality and sustainability of this important raw material.
The company is present throughout the process, from the extraction of cork from the tree and its treatment, processing and production of the final product. Cathedral of Evora (Se Catedral de Evora)
Fortified church of Gothic trace, the Sé de Évora is the largest cathedral in Portugal. Begun in 1186, consecrated in 1204, and since then used as one of the great temples of Marian worship, it was not ready until 1250. It is a monument that exhibits the transition from Romanesque to Gothic style, with subsequent Renaissance and Baroque additions.
