Together we will discover the modernist period (1888-1930) within its social, political, economic and artistic context. We will analyse Gaudi's work: Casa Batlló, Casa Milà and discuss his complete works. We will see other buildings: Rocamora, Ametller, etc. The tour provides the visitor with a local, expert and immersive view of modernism, Gaudí, the history of Barcelona and cultural traditions. It is aimed at people who want to have in-depth knowledge about Gaudí. We will make sure that the tour is educational, enjoyable and full of interesting facts. After the tour, we can go and have a coffee at an exclusive coffee shop.

I will explain the evolution of the history of the city of Barcelona and then present Modernism in its political and social context.
We will analyze the first modernist works such as the street lamps on Paseo de Gràcia.

I will make an introduction to the life and work of: Antoni Gaudí, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí.

Casa Rocamora
Explanation about the history of the building and its style.

La Casa Malagrida
We will see the first modernist building on the tour and I will explain its technique and the life of its owner.

We will learn to identify a modernist building and explain all the symbolism hidden in its façade.
