Known for its French Renaissance style, the castle boasts 440 rooms, 282 fireplaces, and 84 staircases. One of its most famous features is the double-spiral staircase, possibly designed by Leonardo da Vinci, where two spirals ascend without ever meeting. 12:00 PM: Departure to Blois city. Joan of Arc also visited here in 1429 to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before heading to battle against the English. The castle features four different architectural styles and houses 564 rooms, including 100 bedrooms with fireplaces and 75 staircases. 3:30 PM: Departure for Winery Plou et Fils. The journey takes about 30 minutes (30 km).

Located just 400 meters from Château Royal d'Amboise, it is connected by an underground passage. Built in 1471 by Hugues d'Amboise, the castle was once the property of King Charles VIII before being gifted to Leonardo by Francis I in 1516. Today, it serves as a museum dedicated to da Vinci’s life, work, and legacy. In 2021, Clos Lucé was named one of Time magazine’s "Top 100 Extraordinary Destinations."
