Braga is a profound religious city and this journey will get you in touch with the well-known Triangle of Faith: The Cathedral, The Sanctuaries of Sameiro and Bom Jesus.
Close to 12:30 is time for a delicious Traditional Portuguese Lunch with "Vinho Verde" (green wine) that is the magnificent fizzy wine of the Region.
Then we will drive you to Guimarães which is the birthplace of Portugal Nation. We start by visiting the Guimarãe's Castle located oven a hill. From one of its seven towers located over you will observe the wonderful city view.
On our way to Guimarães historical center (UNESCO Site), I will describe some of the most important buildings, such as The Palace of the Dukes of Braganza.

Bom Jesus Funicular
We visit the Bom Jesus Sanctuary to explore the Barroc style of this wonderful place recognized as World Heritage Site by Unesco. This visit includes the stairwalk and the church.

You will have the opportunity to explore the 10th century Castle where Portugal was born. This castle is located in Guimaraes and still remained in very good conditions.

Paco dos Duques de Braganca
You will visit the beautiful Paço dos Duques de Bragança built during the 16th century. Inside of this building you will see some king's artefacts from the past.

You will visit the Historical City Center which is considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco because of its old and medieval houses. The city looks like stopped in the time.
