• Individuals wearing sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
• We recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes for your comfort and safety.
• You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral's dress requirements.
• Florence can be hot in the summer. This tour includes portions that are outside and could be in full sun. Please bring a hat, a small umbrella, and sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
• Unannounced renovation work is often done during the off-season. Crowds are expected during the high season.
• The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
• On Sundays and holidays, skip-the-line priority access to the Cathedral is suspended as it is closed to all visitors. Instead, we will visit the Ancient Basilica of Santa Reparata (the Crypt).
• Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
• Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
