Your two day tour starts in New Delhi visiting Pushkar and Ajmer. Separated from Ajmer by the Snake Mountains, the town of Pushkar lies in a narrow valley overshadowed by rocky hills. One of India’s most sacred lakes lies in the heart of Pushkar. This city important to those of Hindu faith and also known for its annual camel fair. Situated in a basin at the foot of Taragarh Hill and on the banks of Ana Sagar Lake, Ajmer is surrounded by a stone wall with five gateways. This town is renowned throughout the Muslim world as the burial place of Mu’nuddin Chisti, a descendant of the son-in-law of Mohammad. It is believed that seven pilgrimages to Ajmer are equal to one pilgrimage to Mecca. Get to know these two cities of different faiths during your two day tour. Delhi to Pushkar

Pushkar In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in New Delhi and driven to Pushkar (about 6-7 hours). Upon arrival in Pushkar, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Kindly Note : Hotel check in time 1400 Hours

Pushkar via Ajmer to Delhi

Brahma Temple After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of Pushkar. You will visit the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple,one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. You will also visit the Apteshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. After sightseeing in Pushkar, you will continue to Ajmer.

Dargah Shariff Here, you will visit the Dargah Ajmer Sharif, a Sufi shrine which is the burial place of Mu’nuddin Chisti, a descendant of the son-in-law of Mohammad. Built in the 13th century, the shrine is popular among people of all faiths for prayer. Once your sightseeing of Ajmer has concluded, you will be driven back to your hotel in New Delhi.
