It is suitable for most people , with moderate fitness . You will stroll through Tokyo old local neighborhoods ~ Yanaka , Nezu , Ueno Sakuragi and Sendagi . Discover old temples and shrines,buildings from the bygone era from the Meiji Period to the Taishō period and Showa period. •Usually this tour takes around 3 hours 30 minutes.But sometimes the tour may end earlier or later . So everyone can enjoy their experience strolling in this charming neighborhood with flexibility .Small group and you can get a close chat with our tour guide who lives at this neighborhood .Good experience for those who want to see a quieter old town in Tokyo

Nezu Shrine This is one of the oldest place of worship in Tokyo with its’ picturesque Torii-lined pathway. Get to know the indigenous religion of Japanese . Learn how to pray in a shrine , write your wish and get your fortune telling here .

Tennoji Temple This is one of the oldest of the numerous temples in Yanaka area with its’ large, bronze, seated image of Buddha . Appreciate the calm moment in this spiritual old temple . Enjoy the beautiful garden view surrounding the temple complex .

Ueno Sakuragi Atari See the remains of the Showa-period (1926–1989) houses . These houses have been turned into shops now . You may try the local Yanaka beer (at your own expenses) . Please note that Yanaka beer hall and some shops may be closed during your time of visit . Ueno Sakuragi Atari is closed on Monday or sometimes on Tuesday , if the area is closed you can only take photos outside the gate .

This is a local residential area known as “Snake Street” in Japanese . Our tour guide who lives nearby this neighborhood will bring you for a stroll where you can see local old and new houses and shops and get to know more about the local Japanese lifestyle .

Yanaka Cemetery This is one of the largest and most scenic cemetery in Tokyo . Many important figures are buried there .

Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street This is an old shopping street . You can try the local street foods and Japanese desserts here . Get some Japanese souvenirs here . The shops here have different operating days and hours so some shops may be closed during your time of visit .

Yuyake Dandan Known as “sunset staircase” in Japanese. You can see beautiful sunset and Yanaka Ginza street view from this staircase .This is a photo stop spot where you should not miss when you come to Yanaka Ginza

Enju-ji Temple This is a rare temple that people come to pray for strong legs or recovery of the legs injury . You can learn how to pray and write your wish on the “ema” . “Ema” are wooden plates used to write wishes and messages to “kami” God
