Thingvellir National Park You will begin your day by visiting Iceland's only UNESCO World Heritage site, Þingvellir National Park, an area of immense importance for several reasons. First, the parks sit atop the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, an area directly between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Second, in 930 AD, Icelanders formed the first democratically elected parliament in the world, thus birthing a nation. Geysir Geysir geothermal area, where it is possible to see the mighty hot spring Strokkur blast jets of warm water over 25 meters in the air. You can visit the Geysir Center for lunch. Gullfoss Waterfall Gullfoss waterfall, known to be one of the prettiest features in the whole country. From the waterfall we drive up to Langjökull glaicer, the second biggest in Iceland. The primary facilities near Gullfoss waterfall are located at the Gullfoss Visitor Center, where you can have a meal at the Gullfoss Café, run by locals. The café serves a range of refreshments, including hot soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. It’s an ideal spot to take a break during your visit to the waterfall. In addition, the visitor center has a shop offering a variety of Icelandic souvenirs, including handmade wool products and locally crafted items. It’s a fantastic place to find gifts or mementos to commemorate your visit. Travel time: Geysir - Gullfoss Waterfall,// approx. 15 min. (depending on weather conditions) Visit duration: 45 min.

Langjokull Glacier Langjökull is the second largest glacier in Iceland, located in the Western Highlands, visible from many popular attractions, including Húsafell and Haukadalur. The glacier isn’t wide, but it is very long, which is why it was given the name Langjökull or “long glacier“. Langjökull is a popular location to visit in Iceland, being a never-ending source for adventures. Kerid Crater Kerið. The crater was formed about 6,500 years ago. It sits at the northern end of a row of craters known as Tjarnarhólar. This colorful natural marvel is oval, about 270 m long, 170 m wide, and 55 m deep: the depth of the water at the bottom varies between 7 and 14 m. Kerið lies in Iceland's Western Volcanic Zone, which runs through the Reykjanes peninsula and the glacier Langjökull. Travel time: Langjökull Glacier - Kerid Crater // approx. 1 hour 45 min. (depending on weather conditions) Visit duration: 30 min.
