Depart your hotel at 8:00 am for a full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Head to Cholon, in Vietnam the Chinatown area is called Cho Lon, which means great market. This is because it’s the home to the largest market in Saigon, Binh Tay.

Ba Thien Hau Temple
The Chua Ba Thien Hau Pagoda is a Chinese style temple located in the Cho Lon district of Ho Chi Minh City. It is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Lady of the Sea, who is also known as Mazu. Thien Hau is a deity of traditional Chinese religion, who is revered in the southern maritime provinces of China and in overseas Chinese communities.The pagoda, one of the oldest of Chinese community in Ho Chi Minh City, was built in around 1760, then restored continuously in 1800, 1842, 1882, 1890 and 1916. Many of the materials used for constructing the pagoda were brought from China.

FITO Museum
Next, visit the FITO Museum, Vietnam's first traditional medicine museum displaying an amazing collection of 3,000 items relevant to the development of traditional Vietnamese medicine, implements used to prepare indigenous herbs, objects commonly found in traditional pharmacies as well as ancient books and documents on traditional Vietnamese medicine.

Head back into the center of the city to visit Ben Thanh Market. This is one of the largest and oldest Vietnam Markets where you find an incredible display of fresh produce is offered. Simply stroll through the market seeing and enjoying the variety of goods for sale.

This afternoon visit the War Remnants Museum, is the place where the Vietnamese memories of the Vietnam war are stored.. The museum originally opened in 1975 as the "Exhibition House for US and Puppet Crimes" located in the premises of the former United States Information Agency building.

The Independence Palace
Lastly visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, is a grand building in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. In the 70's it was a home and a work place of the President of South of Vietnam. The Palace’s design was based on symbols of the Eastern philosophy.
