During this experience we will cover 3 different areas, and many highlights. We combine our culture & history exploration with a local wine tasting. This is Walking & Wining!
We start next to a majestic monument, the Arc de Triomf. It's the 1888 Expo ground. From there we will head to the biggest public park in the city, the beautiful Ciutadella Park
Then we visit El Born area; famous for it’s tapas bars, world class wine & cocktail bars, boutique shops, art galleries and more. Very bohemian
Last, but certainly not least, the Gothic Quarter, the most authentic part of the city. It's where it all began! From roman ruins to Medieval times. It’s a maze of little streets with many hidden treasures. We'll travel back in time as we explore the layers of 2000 years of history. We will end up in front of the Barcelona cathedral and we conclude with a toast. Salut!
All-in-all an enriching experience, share the Joy!

Itinerary
1
Arc de Triomf
Starting point of the tour and one of the important landmarks of Barcelona. Built as an opening gate to an area that was completely remodeled for the 1888 World Fare. A great place to start with an introduction to our tour after which we will visit this wonderful area
Duration: 15 minutes
2
Parc de la Ciutadella
This is the biggest public park in the city of Barcelona and the favourite park to many Barcelonians. It's our version of Central Park. The Monumental Cascade, the lake, remainings of the old military camp, some of the earliest Catalan Modernist-style buildings, and an indoor botanical garden, we will explore it all during our walk through the park, very relaxing
Duration: 25 minutes
3
El Born
Next, we will explore one of the oldest and most bohemian neighbourhoods in the city, El Born. We cover some important landmarks like the Cathedral of the Sea and the Born Culture & Memorial Center while we explore this neighbourhood further. El Born is famous for great food and some of the most spectacular tapas bars (of course we can give you lots of great recommendations), specialised wine & cocktail bars, finger-licking pastries, boutique shopping, art galleries and some of the most important museums in the city
Duration: 50 minutes
4
Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)
Last stop, the Gothic Quarter, the oldest and most authentic part of the city. We will cover 2000 years of history as we roam through this maze of little streets. El 'barrio gótico' hides many treasures and we'll travel from Roman times to the Middle Ages, and from Jewish history to Columbus... We will cover the layers of history in a part of the city that is literally a layer-cake, it's easy to get lost over there but that's why we will show you the way. Let's time-travel together!
