JDM Drift Car Driving Lesson Self Drive w/ Teacher Daikoku Ebisu, Tokyo

This is the first ever official drift car driving experience activity from Tokyo. The activity offers the opportunity to actually drive a drift car, with an expert teacher for drift lessons for beginners and intermediate experience drivers. You will learn to do a basic donut and figure 8 if you pick up fast. For safety, we will provide you with a helmet and gloves for free, so you can be assured about safety.

You will either be driving a Nissan 180SX, or Mazda Roadster (MX-5 / Miyata) or Toyota Mark II (JZX100) the cars and teachers will vary according to the day. Some teachers can speak English and teachers who can not speak English we will have an interpreter on site for translation.

All tours are organized officially by a JDM drift team so all people who attend are drift car lovers and fanatics. We can take pictures and videos of you when you are driving the car as well.

What To Expect

Drifting is a culture that originated in Japan. It is widely embraced by people around the world, and now many visitors come to Japan from all over the globe to experience Japanese drifting culture. You will be given a drift driving lesson by several pros and experts in Japan either on a Nissan 180sx or Mazda Roadster (MX-5/Miyata) or Toyota Mark II (JZX100). Vehicles and teachers will vary according to the day and lessons will be in Japanese with a translator at site.

This activity offers the opportunity to actually drive in a drift car, allowing you to immerse yourself in the thrill of drifting. You will learn to do a basic donut and a figure 8 and more advanced skills if you are intermediate skill or above. For safety, we will provide you with a helmet and gloves for free, so you can be assured about safety.

This experience could also become a fantastic memory for your Instagram! We can take pictures of you when you are on the car as well.
